The Boys & Girls Club provides a safe place for youth to learn and grow, develop ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals, engage in life-enhancing programs, character development experiences, and create hope and opportunity.

African, Caribbean, Funk, Reggae, and Latin grooves meet traditional fiddle music. It's the genre-bending future of the music of the past.

The Gaslight Tinkers' blend of global rhythms creates a joyously danceable sound around a core of traditional New England old time and Celtic fiddle music, merging boundless positive energy with melody and song. Since its formation in 2012 the band has lit up the East Coast, the West Coast, and the Caribbean, headlining clubs, dances, and major festivals.

Playing what The Valley Advocate describes as “Music that consistently fizzes and pops with unexpected textures and turns,” The Gaslight Tinkers’ shows are packed with delightful surprises, elated crowds, and exuberant musicianship. The sound and energy of Audrey, Jopey, Garrett, and Peter are universally irresistible.

Nelson Keene Carse is “Team” and grew up in New York City's Greenwich Village. In the 1970's he attended public schools P.S.41 and I.S.70. He took to art and music in school and as the graffiti movement exploded around him he found it to be a natural outlet for his own creativity and expression - as well as a unique way to meet people from different backgrounds and neighborhoods. Team submitted his art portfolio to a city program that accepted him and placed him in a new creative arts "school within a school" at Erasmus Hall High School on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn. After graduating high school in 1978 he started a band with friends called Urban Blight. He became the lead singer and songwriter. Like graffiti art he found working with the band to be a vibrant form of expression - an outlet for him and his friends to blend their experiences of growing up in the city. The band toured throughout the 80's and mid 90's. After disbanding in '95 team was accepted into NYU where he majored in digital arts and writing. He graduated with honors in 2000 and is currently working on art design and graffiti art canvases. Also working as a Radio Personality at East Village Radio on the Forty Deuce show and working as an art manager and curator for several large street art/mural projects.

Art Medium and Process: Team graffiti art is painted on stretched canvas and plaster cut surfaces. It is a mixture of spray paint gradients and backgrounds with paint brushed designs using acrylic , water and oil based enamels. Often Stencils are used for masking spray paint gradients. Xacto knives are used in cutting stencils and carving plaster. The works incorporate New York City graffiti style with a variety of graphic art solutions - striving to maintain the energy and color of graffiti as a unique urban art form. An art form that is now recognized and revered world wide. Team has been a featured artist at the NYC Urban Experience Museum. Is a featured artist for the Graffiti L’amour exhibit - 50 graffiti artists from around the world - Paris, France. Has been a featured artist for the Powerhouse Books Hip-Hop series. Was a featured solo exhibit artist at Bard College, New York. Has designed Graphics and art for the Beastie Boys, Ali G., Ricky Powell, Urban Blight, Upper Playground, and others....
