Downtown Brattleboro Alliance

Our mission is to promote the vitality of downtown, the primary center of commerce, culture and community life for Brattleboro and the surrounding area. DBA is the official non-profit Designated Downtown Organization for the Town of Brattleboro, providing access to grants, technical assistance and networking opportunities.

Programming is funded primarily through a special assessment tax on downtown properties.

DBA works with members, including the downtown property owners, to develop a work plan and budget, before submitting these to the town, DBA members vote and approve the work plan and budget.

DBA is led by a volunteer Board of Directors which includes local business owners, property owners, educators, and town representatives. In November 2017, DBA hired a new Executive Director, Stephanie Bonin.
