Make it stand out.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

The power of song has always fascinated me.
Twenty five years of pursuing music has taught me that singing is our birthright;
it helps individuals and communities to truly thrive.
Singing is courageous, medicinal, deep, playful, powerful.

I’ve been on a big journey to find my own voice as a singer.
What is the music that wants to sing through ME?
The answers are always evolving, as I evolve.
I hope my music inspires others to sing more, to feel, to be awake, to be courageous, and to know that singing is for all of us.

What is the music that wants to sing through YOU?

Cara is a singer, vocal coach, food enthusiast, and performance artist based in Vermont.  Her passions include music, theater, clowning, improvisation, dance, world cultures, social justice, being in nature, cooking, gardening, and anything sparkly.  Though classically trained as a singer, she has studied many genres of music.  Cara has dedicated the past decade to studying vocal improvisation with Rhiannon and she is currently studying at the Complete Vocal Institute in Denmark.  She teaches privately and in groups.  She also runs her own small catering business.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Make it stand out.

Dream it.
