Last summer Angling & Donuts was the first public event on the newly restored floodplain at Melrose Terrace.

On a few Sundays in late spring, join your River Steward, Kathy Urffer, and Water Way(s) director, Erin Maile O’Keefe, along with our friends at Trout Unlimited for some fishing. We will provide some fishing poles (or bring your own) and delicious donuts made by small local bakeries. Come discover the abundance of trout in the Brook, try your hand at fly or reel fishing and learn about the impacts of climate change on our fish populations. Bring your favorite humans and morning beverage for this sweet gathering at our newest recreational access area along the Whetstone Brook! Oh, and bring a comfy camp chair, too.

This event is FREE, but we ask that you register so we order enough donuts and bring enough fishing poles.
